responsibility

I told you I wasn't done with this subject.

So, I was sitting in the kitchen at the counter reading a book. Its a very good book by the title of "Name of the Wind". We had been out working on the cars until dinner and the kids had decided to eat outside. "She" came in to get a drink of water. I could see her out of the corner of my eye as she reached to get a glass from the cabinet. She decided to use the water from the fridge door and somehow she spilled it in the floor. It wasn't a whole glass of water mind you only a couple of tablespoonfuls. I heard the water hit the floor and felt her look down at it. The bad part was that I could feel the mental shrug that she gave and then she turned and walked off. She thought of no one but herself. Someone could slip down in that and break a leg or worse they might hit their head.
I guess I won't be counting on that one for much.

I did clean it up with two paper towels and shooed the cat away from it. You would think that a grown girl would have cleaned up her own mess. You would think...........

But the children of strangers are not mine to raise. I will however come up with a suitable punishment (as if this post wasn't enough.)

  1. I wouldn't want to be on the end of your punishment!
