Borrowing?

I keep hearing all this talk about making it easier for banks to lend money to individuals and businesses. Wouldn't it be a hoot if no one took the bait? I mean seriously, if you can't pay for it obviously you don't really need it. I am almost at the point of only having my house left to pay for. Yes, things do come up. For instance, when I sprang a leak in the den ceiling it ruined some of the tiles and I havent replaced them because I cant find a match for the pattern. I will need to replace the entire ceiling with new tiles if they are going to match. I am saving for that project. In the meantime, the dryer has gone on the fritz. I think it may be covered under warranty but I will still have to pay for a service call Im sure. It's going to have to wait. I have a drying rack and it's getting warm outdoors now. I am still sticking to my stock purchasing plan through all of this. I am picking up some really good stocks at great prices that Im sure I will appreciate having ten years from now. I need to get these set up now since I will need to rely on the dividends in retirement.
I'm buying Oneok again tomorrow. OKS

This lovely lady came to visit us at the office on Friday. She took a rose petal from me and ate it. I guess lemurs like to eat roses. Lori, who is a contract drafter for us at work, owns the "Wild Sanctuary" out between Broken Arrow and Bixby. Lori occasionally brings her babies in to visit us.

This is my latest complete project. A "Baby Surprise Jacket" made completely without the pattern. It took me a bit of trial and error but it didn't take too long to figure it out. There are only 2 seams across the shoulders. Think about that. I put a notched collar on it and wooden buttons. I just sent this off to my granddaughter Brigid for her birthday on the 17th.

What? I have a life?

Getting on with life is becomming more enjoyable. I have really had some fun getting back into knitting this last month and have almost finished a jacket for my granddaughter started a cowl for her mother and am playing around with some lace stitches. My knitting basket has really grown in size.
Have started looking around for a gym to join again but I really don't want to sign a contract after having been burned. Planet fittness is starting to sound good. I could join the Pit Power Club down the street but its always overcrowded. I suppose I could walk down there and then I wouldnt need a parking space.
I have started taking a new supplement daily with my herbal regieme. Silica, good for hair, nails,
skin, and joints. It boosts collagen production supposedly. I will see how it works. I started it last weekend and I think I may be feeling a difference in my knees. I will give it another week or so and see if I can sit in the floor comfortably again. I am bound and determined to be able to do that. If I have to take up Yoga I will.
