I got a new photocard for my digital camera and my computer doesnt seem to like it . Either that or the usb ports are not working any longer. Whatever, I will try loading pictures from work. I knitted Erin a sweater that is just as cute as a button and I took pictures of the AEP crew that was taking down the Bradford pear trees in the side yard. I told them to just take all 4 of them and that way I wouldnt have to have them in the yard again. HaHa. I will plant lilac bushes out there I think.

The Edge

My son called this weekend with news that an old friend of the family was in hospice care due to lung cancer.  My thoughts of course went over the various facets of his life that had intertwined with mine.  Although he was my husband’s friend more so than mine, he was there at the beginning of things.  It seems as if the first wave of my generation is falling off.  Perhaps it is the second wave and Viet Nam was the first wave.  At any rate, the risk takers, those who lived on the edge or walked the line are the ones we are losing now.  Not that I haven’t walked my share of lines.
